Ok let me start this off by saying that I just got a 2003 F250 6.0 from a friend that had changed the oil and filters. I was wondering about adding the 16 oz 9100 fraction modifier in the oil without draining it.

The two questions that I have are: do I drain off 16 oz then add the 9100 or just add it. Secondly is Amsoil Oil better then Schaeffer Oil? I'm new to the diesel world

You can just add the 16oz to the oil.

We use Schaeffers and it's been great oil. Like said above typically you can just add the archoil
