Personally, I would drain my tank. Put fresh fuel in with lots of fuel treatment of your choice, and carry on. Wasting a full tank of fuel is cheaper than wasting a set of injectors.

There is some fuel treatments with an algiside in it. The problem comes from bio fuels or blended animal fats in fuel with moisture. This causes algae to grow. Causing black fuel filters or in some cases red. All depends on What the fuel is blended with .
