It was finally time to change my fuel filters since the last time they were changed was when I bought it around 15k ago. Shop quoted they changed them. But to my surprise the bottom one never was. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1363900056.465558.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1363900077.710280.jpg

Those look pretty bad, but for reference the drain on the FMFP will always have trash come out of it. Thats the stuff from outside the filter that did not pass through and gunk that may have collected in the drain nipple. But those are pretty dirty for on 15k.

Well that's good to know I think. Makes ya wonder how much was in the filter. And I'm pretty sure the bottom one was skipped last time.

You have a picture of the updated one?

The updated filter pak is Motorcraft part # 4616 and the one above is a # 4606.. The 4616 has an added o-ring to keep water from getting through to the injectors..

That's wat I put in there. Good deal. And I wish it was an oil filter

Do you have the updated fuel pressure regulator kit installed on your truck? When I installed the 4616's the first time, I lost a little fuel pressure.. I updated the FPR kit and fuel was happy again..
