I would rather have something that flexed a little bit....just for the ease of fitment.
Seems any of the aftermarket up pipes use better flex joints then the stock crap.

I'm using flex joints from Jake at Irate Diesel....they have held up to drive pressures of 110+ psi, and 1600+*F EGT's.

run far away, buy from a site sponsor that has an actual quality product. Check out Cutting Edge's up pipes, RCD's new extreme duty up pipes, Strokers unlimited etc etc.

Yeah I'm looking for some high quality, divided up pipes to fit a T4 flange...but I really don't wanna change a lot of piping to fit my twin setup.
I may have to cut up a new set of up pipes to get them to fit, so I may as well build my own.

I put a set of MPD's on mine. Fit great and very happy with customer service. I would not put solids on.

so anyone who isn't a site sponsor doesnt have an actual quality product?

why do you say run away from sinister? other than the name sinister have a negative meaning, i see nothing wrong with them. im not saying anyone is better than the other. i was just asking about solid y pipes in general, just mentioning i was looking at the mkm/sinister set. also, not having a core charge is nice.
