Just curious. I just picked up my 2014 KR. Looking to put 8' lift with 38's. I always just put out of the box lifts on my trucks and always had to replace or add things to make it ride better. This time I am looking for a custom lift. Do it right the first time. I like to Pure Performance 8" coil over system. Just don't know anyone personally that runs it. BDS with fox shocks is also on the table. Any other lifts that anyone would recommend. Thanks for any help.

Best quality lift for that height would be an Icon/OUO mix. For a budget quality lift I would do the BDS.

I think Erik was running the rear coiloverset up from Pure performance, I would give trevor a call at PMF, or the guys a call at OUO for custom. If your looking for out of the box, BDS, or Icon are good setups.

I've got the 8" pure kit on my truck and was very impressed with the quality of the kit. I am running icon coilovers though.

I just finished reading about your set up. Love your truck. I am looking for something close to your set up. How much adjustment do you have. How low will it go down. I really want 8" of lift but if i can find something with 8-10" of adjustment would probably ride better. How does your truck ride?

Oh and I don't live that for from you here in Lafayette. I was in your neck of the wood for TX2K.

The Icon coil overs are 7-9" adjustable, but I have changed some things up to get 11 out of it. It actually rides pretty rough but I also have the coil overs maxxed out. But I didn't lift the truck to ride better, if I wanted a nice ride and good fuel economy id get a prius lol I have heard that when the coils are set to say 7" they ride like butter.

Fuel economy I dont care about. I drive my GT500 for fuel economy lol. For as ride. I know there is lifts out there that ride better than stock. I agree with you if your coils are max out the ride is a little harsh. I have heard that if you set your suspension mid way through the travel is the best ride thats why I am looking for something 8-10".
