I would think that it should have it but I have seen some higher end trucks without. There is an additional battery cable that runs to the firewall that is usually a give away. It has a fusable link that says "100" on it.

does it sense outdoor air temp or engine temp to run? just starting to get cold here in mi so i'm pretty stoked to have it. just installed remote access starter and it will be nice to get in my truck after work and just be able to go and not have to wait to warm up. thanks for the help looking it up for me!

My 16 has it and it blows warm air within about a minute. It's not enough to really keep it hot in the cab but it does warm it up a lot faster than my 2010 did

Its an electrical grid heater, dependant on the air temp going to heater core,.If engine is already warm, and you have good heat,it does not go on.
