My truck has 109,xxx miles, been ******d most of its life. Im looking at replacing the hpfp and injectors just as a piece of mind. So this is where my question comes in....say i buy a used set of injectors, and get them flow tested/balanced etc.....would that be able to tell me if one of those injectors is bad before i put it in the truck and test it with ids? Because im debating on finding a set of used, a reman set or a new set. .......and also if i buy new injectors and throw bigger nozzles on them will i have to get them balanced and such since they are new?

Yes if you send them out to get tested they will be able to tell you if any are bad. No matter what you decide it would be a very good idea to get them flow tested and balanced. Why buy used when you could just send yours out?

Fwiw when I had my injectors flowed and balanced I had 5 remans in the bunch and guess which injectors failed the flow bench. If you buy used or reman injectors do yourself a favor and have them checked out.

We can take care of any balancing and testing if need be . pm if interested. The only thing that can be bad about buying a used set is if they have more damage then your originals then the savings go down the drain.

RCD is pretty well known for it...

:whs:

I have a set of stock injectors coming out of my truck next week. 136k miles. I'm selling them. They were just flow tested and balanced at RCD last spring. Nothing bad came back on the flow test or balancing. Still running strong

I had 3 NIB reman injectors fail when Midwest sent them out for flow testing/ balancing... Definitely worth the $ for the piece of mind
