Been driving Chelsea's Excursion for the last three weeks...

I just have to state this again...

AC's, 38R and a good set of tunes are a match made in heaven IMHO. This thing is just a blast to drive, never have to look at the gauges, never have to worry about a thing other then put fuel in it.

Just filled up this evening. Filled up on thursday, drove around and to Visions deal on saturday, then home, then around town and back to work this morning.

17mpg... Cant beat that on a 8500# rig on 37's.

I agree Joe. I honestly don't wanna bother the setup on the SD for that exact reason. I'm extremely happy with ported housing van charger. I'm thinking about getting the ww2 for it.

Kinda did the same thing except it was in the wife's 06 TDI! My truck was parked and she was using the Excursion! I did not want to give it back! Fuel economy is insane, seats are heated, no 4 inch lift to kill my back, steers easily and it's quiet! I sometimes regret doing some of the things I did to my truck.

Love my EX. I'm amazed at how much MPG I'm getting out of the 7.3 with just the few mods below!
15.5 in the city and over 20 on the highway.
It'll be a bit before I can get new injectors - but my upgraded turbo I'm building from scratch is almost ready and can't wait to put in the Chip/Tunes to see how it all get's better!

I can't believe you guys get over 16-18 mpg in an ex. Mine rarely gets over 14 and that's light footing it on the highway.

Same paint, same wheels...

It had the plastic cladding on the bottom, we removed it.

It had nice wheels, the deicer ruined them so we got them powder coated.
