Best place to take oil pressure

I'm going to hook up a oil pressure gauge to my 02 and was wondering where the best place to take oil pressure is ?

Depends where you want to check pressure.

There is a plug on the block on the driver side front of the block below the oil cooler that will work. It is the same place the GEN3 attaches its feed line.

There is also a port on the filter base that can be used.

Or you can tap into the top of the HPOP res and get it from there. That is where the Dummy gauge on the dash reads from.

Just wanted to monitor pressure. Filter base be a good spot or go in the block ?

billet filter cap would be your easiest route

Either filter base or block will work for you. I believe filter base would be a little easier to access though.

I think the easiest is the HP reservoir. Its right up top and won't make any mess.

But isn't the lowest pressure seen at the turbo pedestal?

Pressure Gauges need to read 2 things, highest and lowest, I'd want to be reading the lowest when it comes to oil psi
