Well after researching a trade in or fixing it, I decided to fix it.
New Head Gaskets, ARP studs, decked the heads, OEM gaskets, Another new oil cooler, new pulleys and belts. All said and done $4535.71.
He pulled the cab and I did see it while it was up in the air. Damn scary to say the least.
I could see where the coolant had been seeping around the cylinders. He said the cylinders looked good and I can no longer smell coolant when I shut it down. Seems to be running good so far and the temps are looking good.
The work was done by Cushman Diesel in Linn Creek, Mo.
