Built 5r troubles

So I had my 5r built with the suncoast stage 3 kit including a new billet input shaft, new pump, modified DD solenoid and PI t/c. Now I'm working out the bugs. This 5r is a tuning nightmare! Horrible shift flare from 3-5 and at wot it feels like it kick out of gear an just searches for gears( unless I do a 4 wheel launch). Now the other issue is the truck stalling on me in reverse! Please help guys.

Im running basically an identical trans. Dropped it in place of my stocker. Shifted great from the get go. No tuning needed. Something is up

Yes it should for sure shift great right out of the box with no changes in tuning.

My buddy who owns his own diesel shop in Nashville. He's a known builder around here.

I'm going to try running a detuned file to see if it helps

Stalling in reverse is a pump volume issue 99% of the time. Either restricted filter or pump got chewed up on install possibly.

Pump is brand new and I watched it being installed. Maybe i should try replacing the filter first.

something was not assembled properly. unless something was majorly modified, that trans should shift well.

what all was done to it?

Suncoast Iron PAC 3, trans go shift kit, modified dd solenoid, new pump, billet input shaft and PI billet t/c.

I with the others, something is wrong with the trans, the stalling in reverse is most likely the lockup convertor coming on because of a internal pressure leak.
