Cab vents

Got a leak and pretty sure coming from the cab vents in the back on my 99. According to ford this is discontinued for 99-04 anyone know if the 05+ will work?

Leaking around the vent? If so just silicone it and reinstall.

I can still get the early sd ones just figured since everything else on the cabs interchange so maybe these would and save me $60. Will try silicone first but think PO messed with then when fan is on high get a high pitched whistle so assume he tried to block off completly.

There only like $15 for newer style so may buy one and try.
