Got a truck here that neither I nor the customer knows what is done to it. When you start it cold it ramps the rpms up to high idle @ 1100 and nothing brings it down. Even if you hold the brake and put it in gear. It stays @ 1100. Once Luke warm it can be brought down with a tap of the brake. It also rolls out very heavily. I'd like to just flash it back to stock but I first would like to know what's in it.

Can I post the Cal ID and be able to find out if it's a ficm tune or what?

Does it do it immediately? They will go into hi idle after a minute or so under a certain ambient temp. Typically the brake will drop the idle, but may have another issue there?

It's immediately. And for at least 10 mins even tapping brake or putting in gear doesn't drop it. It idles at 1200

Just did studs and it kills me that it's high idling immediately. I like to break the gaskets in by avoiding high idle until op temp

Nah. It seems like it's a programmed event. I'll give it a shot though
