You need to remove the belt and the PS pump bolts and swing the pump away from the block.. This will expose the sensor which should be about 5inchs long.. 10MM bolt I believe, pull it out from the block (be careful)..
Are you sure you need to replace it? A lot of times these trucks will throw false codes for the CMP and CKP when they're cranked a lot and not started too... just throwing it out there. They rarely go bad on these.
Clean the mounting area well. Any deviation in the sensor lenth can cause signal problems. Look at both sensors with a scanner and see if they sync up.
I'm just gonna have to take it over to ps magic Saturday. Let them go through everything. It's doing all kinds of funky stuff. Degas bottle is way over pressured and full of gunk. I think there's several different things going wrong
