CCV Hose

This may be a dumb question so I apologize in advance!! I was trying to remove the CCV hose that runs from the CCV box to the lower intake manifold. From what Ive read about removing the intake manifold side of the hose with the gray camlock, people say to push the hose in and turn it left/counter clockwise. However, not matter what I do, that does not work. Am I missing something? I cant get it to detach from lower intake manifold. Thanks for any input!

Anyone who has removed that hose and done a CCV kit, what was the exact process used to remove that hose?

Push in on the hose while turning the cam lock, then wiggle and pull it off once the cam lock has released. Sometimes they can be a little stubborn.
