Center console lock question

For those of you with the bench style seating and the fold up center console.

Has anyone had to replace their lock for the lower compartment for any reason. Is the lock just a standard door/tailgate style lock



I purchased a set of 14' seats for my project truck and after looking at the lock I cannot tell if it just a door lock with different arm assembly attached or what. The seats didn't come with a key so id like to get a lock in with a matching key I can actually use. Any help would be great.

Mine uses the same key as my door, ignition, & rear seat lock. Never releplaced them.

I assumed the keys were all matched to one another. I looked at the lock cylinder last night when I was installing the seats and it appears to be slightly different than a door lock in that it has a swing arm that actually latches the console shut but wasn't sure if its something that could be removed from the old lock and installed onto a new matched lock
