Main reason would be to keep heat out of the engine bay a little bit, i dont think youd see any sort of gains other than that and they look good

Ok just wondering . The price on the coated manifolds went up quite a bit . I do plan on doing new manifolds though. I just thought it would help keep egt down.

Well...it should help keep the heat inside the manifolds...which will then travel up the up pipes hotter then before...and into the turbo hotter then before...more heat = more force to spin the turbine wheel = quicker boost.

So what is this wrap that you guys are talikng about. Maybe I'll buy new stock manifolds and wrap them. The motor is on the stand so i think that would be a little easier? How long does it last? Will it peel later?
