Charging system problem?

Just picked up an 04 f350. Havnt noticed it I guess because I haven't driven it at night until tonight but I can see the lights flickerin almost. Very subtle but you can definitely notice it in the headlights and inside lights like radio and overhead light. Scanner shows constant 14.2v charging. This a common problem? Could something else be wrong internally in the alternator? Truck has brand new fomoco batteries in it as well. Thanks

Check the grounds at the battery connection make sure they are tight
