I have a 2000 7.3 with a lot of money in the engine and trans and I have a six dial tuner and while im in tow tune my check engine light will come on but if I put it back into city or highway tune it will eventually go off or will go off when I restart the truck. Now if I go from my tow tune to city tune and come to a complete stop the truck will idle fine but when you give it throttle it wont do anything it will just idle and not move nor rpms or sometimes not alot of the time it will try to die coming to a stop.
Just a background on the truck it has a sledgehammer 71mm turbo 240cc injectors aeromotive fuel pump with dual filter arp headstuds new crank new connecting rods and pistions six dial tuner, bts transmission detroit locker in the rear axle with 3.73 gears 5in pipe from turbo back
