Whats the difference in the cold weather properties between the Vxcf4 and Vxcf4 SCT base files?

I have tunes with both strategies. I also have PHPs atlas 40 on the FICM.

below 35 degrees in the VXCF4 tune my truck shows signs of stiction like a mofo. In the VXCf5 variant of the exact same tune. No stiction

well i know bill looked into that, but the atlas 40 has mild indcutive heating...6 faulty glowplugs were my problem. But I will say Chris @ TSD and Bill @ PHP were all over it making sure it wasn't tuning....and after a few emails and trying different things were determined it was not related to tuning.

Not saying your problem isn't, just trying to help you out.

I can see a difference in stiction simply swapping FICM's around.

I can see that where different FICM programming and voltages would cause that.

Ive got a BPD FICM with Bills atlas 40.

Im just looking for specific differences in ECM strategy

Does anybody know the differences between each strategies? , like maybe a list off the changes as they upgrade the factory tune?

Definitely different programming (factory programming). Voltages are all the same. I really like me some older programming from the earlier 7 pin units (not that being a 7 pin is why, they just happen to be older).

Interested to see where this goes as far as the ECM strategies too.

Does BPD do their own FICM software I assume? How was that?

BPD uses the factory programming and your existing logic board.

They only offer a completely redesigned power supply side
