compressed natural gas conversion?????

Is it worth doing? Is it safe? Safe for the motor? Anyone running or know anyone thats running these kits?

I havent purchased one or anything, My finances dad was saying about how he knew someone that was running one and he loved it and it made his truck get better fuel mileage and seemed to run better, but i think he said it was on a dmaxx. i will try googleing it. REDROCE589, i see you live in ocala, My grandpa live right outside of there. We would go there to vist him like around twice a year. I remember when i was little riding thru there and there was nothing but cattle and orange fields... Then over the years it got packed with houses and buildings. I miss being there. Unfortanly my g pa passed away this year. But i havent been down there in 4 or 5 years.

I use to work a phone company that had converted gas to CNG and while the cng is a lot cheaper it also burned a lot faster. Also check to see how many filling stations are around.

I saw that gmc now offers CNG from the factory as an option... $11k thou

theres actually a big company about 10 mile from me that does natural gas conversions on new trucks.
