Just started losing coolant slowly.
Just did egr delete, STC upgrade and new oil cooler.
Coolant tank is not expelling coolant.
No leaks to be found.
Uses amount in degas bottle in 50 miles.
No white or blue smoke.
No coolant in oil and no oil in coolant.
Truck starts up immediately with no hiccups.
And of course this happens right as I am about to sell it. :pointlaugh:
Head gaskets?
Any advice is appreciated.
Also have AE.

my 06 done the same thing and is going to shop in the morning for head gasket. A buddy of mine had a issues with his and turned out to be the radiator leaking around the bottom where it is crimped and the only way we found it was when the weather turned cold and it started to seep

I have looked everywhere!
And I am at a loss.
I thought most of the time when a head gasket went the tank gets highly pressurized and pukes coolant.
But its not doing that.

What is the normal price for getting heads decked?
And how much can be taken off the heads without piston to valve interference?
If they are not cracked...

Can't say I have.
But if I do that and just say a hg is bad will it fill the cylinder?
Or am I looking for noise? Leaks?
Have checked for leaks after driving while still pressurized tho.

If its an external leak it will show up best when cold and under pressure. I doubt it will fill the cylinder if its a HG but it could, guess you know the next time you try to start it.

Probably won't hear any kind of noise. Just look for a drip or leak

It couldn't hurt to check your heater core for a leak. They're easy to get to on these trucks and if it's not puking from the degas bottle it might not be head gaskets. Just a thought

If a radiator was leaking and causing the system to not hold pressure would it puke?

I would second putting the gauge in the return line from the top
Of the radiator to the degas bottle. Drive it and see what the pressure is.
