Not sure where to post this but I have an 07 F-250 . A couple weeks ago it started puking coolant when I flashed any of the 3 custom tunes it would puke coolant out of the reservoir but if I returned the truck to stock it wouldn't leak I just got the truck back from ford and they changed out 5 injectors so I don't know if they did anything to it what could be causing this I asked them to check the oil cooler and they said it was good please help

Head gaskets are leaking from the higher cylinder pressure. Mine did the same thing after putting tunes on it. Fairly common on the 6.0. You can still drive it but I would take it easy on it and gather up the parts to do studs with oem gaskets and egr delete.

more load, higher cylinder pressure, hotter temp... Yeah definitely gonna need hg bud. Start saving up, best advice.

Like these guys said, it's very possible your head gaskets need attention.

However, I thought I'd throw this out there...

Where is the coolant level in the bottle? Does it puke the bottle dry? Ford revised the coolant bottle to about an inch below the "min" line. Some trucks got a sticker to indicate the revised level, some didn't.

My truck will puke if I have the coolant level up to "min" or higher. It settles about an inch below the min line and doesn't loose anymore. I thought I'd throw that out there just in case.

If it's puking the bottle dry then you most certainly have an issue.

You could be right brother it has never puked it plum dry. If I had head gasket trouble wouldn't ford tell me about it and fix it under warranty or would they just let me drive it ( since you said it was driveable) and let the warranty expire since it expires in 3 months. I'm in the process right now going through a lemon law lawyer. It has been about 2 weeks since we submitted everything to ford. Still waiting on word as to what they're willing to do. It has been in the shop 48 days 13 different times for different reason some 2 and 3 times for same reason ie: HP oil pump / injectors. I hope it is because I filled it up too high because I always filled it up to that top line

Ford will make every excuse in the book in order to avoid getting that far into these motors under warranty. If you were out of warranty they'd be more than happy to take you money and do a half assed head gasket job.

If you ever end up doing any major repairs out of pocket, I'd recommend a reputable diesel shop, not a Ford dealer.

I don't want to lump all Ford diesel techs into the same category. There are still a few good ones out there. Ford doesn't pay these guys enough anymore to give incentive for the good ones to stick around.

I'm having same the same problem. I have my egr deleted, head studs, eot & ect are good and tunes done by reputable shop. They used black onyx gaskets... My first step was to replace the cap, now coolant comes out upper and lower hose connections and some white smoke on start up. Will degraded coolant build up this much pressure or is it the head gaskets ? How can I diagnose if it is the gaskets without taking the heads off? I have no oil in coolant and no coolant in the oil. I can't tell if exhaust smells sweet. I can't find any test strips locally for diesel in coolant. What is the possibility of cracked exhaust valve seats?
