Coolant question

Ok I have a 6.0 and I am almost for sure I know what the probelm is but I want a second opion first. The truck is using coolant and white smokes bad it also builds pressure in the system just after 10 min of running in 20 degree weather. Is this the sign of a bad egr cooler? I wouldnt think it would be a floated head but maybe a head gasket. Any insight on my issuse?

pull out egr valve, see if intake is wet and sloppy... if yes, than egr cooler

Seems how your gonna be into that engine, have a look at the bulletproof egr delete, also there external oil cooler and oil filter setup. Get rid of that oil cooler thats in your engine its probably plugged up or getting close to it. Sinister makes a good coolant filter kit. This is all worth doing cause your there.
