Cooling Fan Question

Have a 05 all deletes with gearhead tunes. Egr valve is plugged in harnes still. Fan works fine off a/c pressure switch but dosen't work off temps. Any help appreciated.

EOT or ECT getting too hot?

ECT on auto meter gauge. Sorry should have put only gets hot towing on uphill pulls. Using heavy tow tune egts never over 1100. Temps got to 240 and factory gauge was moving up towards hot. Was towing pulling tractor 15000 including trailer. Thanks for reply.

I would do a fan clutch check with an IDS. run the duty cycle up and see if the rpms keep changing.

Finally got a chance to test some things. The auto meter gauge showed 25 degrees more the ect with snap-on scanner. This is only on slower speed uphill pull with trailer. Guage sending unit is in plate on oil cooler which is definitely not a good spot. Delta is perfect and never more than 4 degrees but truck was deleted at early and has never had any issues. Thanks.
