Whaaat. They made 6.9s way longer than than 7 years...lol.
I love 6.0s and 6.4s but your right for the average guy just looking for a good truck it's hard to recommend either unless it's had some work. Sad thing is in the last month I have had the cab off 2 6.0s that were previously studded. But I have a duramax with a cracked block, and have done heads on a few cummins recently also. They all break.
