damn coolant leak

noticed a coolant leak yesterday is there any other fittings or hoses or anything like that that are prone to leak besides the turbo fittin? any help or advice would be appreciated will look at it tonight after work

The thermostat seal was jacked up in mine. New one was $20 done. I would look there next.

Follow the hot hose from the rad to the plastic housing. There's like 4 bolts, you'll have to drain coolant.

well thermostat isn't leaking ! do the water pumps go out in these trucks ? truck has 42k

Yeah primary water pumps sometimes go early. Drivers side of engine. They aren't hard to change.

is it the big one along the front ? do u have to remove the radiator to change

Radiator can stay in just remove fan an shroud. It is the big pump pulley on pass side and it goes across the front cover

havnt yet im gonna start it and let it heat up and than see where its coming from tonight so I hope I can figure it out

Found it the arm that needs to be removed toget that top manifold off the black one on passenger side that takes a o ring the I ring must be bad I washed it all off and sat there with truck running and seen it drip thank god somethin easy
