Details on my new triple turbo setup

well this thread is kind of a feeler on parting out my newly acquired 6.4 triple turbo setup 6.4 and getting more details on it since im sure there is people on here that followed the build. I picking it up from a local guy that bought it couple weeks ago thinking he could DD a 1200hp truck and has left him stranded 3 times already and just got way over his head on the entire deal. So now headache to deal with. It has a pair of s369sxe feeding an efr8374, cp3 with 100s and a john wood 4r110 in it and more then likely going to just part it out. I am more then happy with my non VGT compounds and dont want to play in the triple game. So the purpose of this thread is to get more details on the build and try to figure out why a dealership found this truck in an auction when someone paid well into 6 figures to get it built.

Wow lol. I know triples are cramped under the hood of fords... but damn!!

Yes the actual craftsmanship of the charger setup is very impressive but the installation of the setup is terrible. kinked lines an just looks like it was slapped together. thats why i was hoping to get the rest of the story cuz it feels like i am missing something.

BTW it was a low-key build, nothing online other than from the Turbo shop's facebook with a few install pics.

Jon Schumacher built it iirc. The owner of the truck bailed on the build 3/4 of the way through hence why some stuffs probably not the best put together.

Ya i have been talking with Clayton at silverline about the build and he said he is friends with Jon and that he was going to buy it. I have dug up alot of good info on it from the original owner to the shop it was built at. Didnt understand alot of the details of why they went so far in upgrades like with the trans doing the full race 4r but the front pump was a CP3 instead of doing it correctly with a k16. Or the fact that is had that much done in the engine but didnt even have trac bars on the rear yet. Either way they conclusion is still the same, trucks going back to stock and my truck is getting upgrades lol FTW!!!!

I asked about the traction bars first thing too and got the impression they were on the list after it was running and driving 100%.

As for the 4r, do you know if they built it stronger after smoking the first one?

I didnt get the part that they smoked the first one? John Wood has not gotten back to me on a build list yet tho on the trans but i was told its there race addition which i looked up the website.

Yea when power driven first got it running and went to dyno they smoked the first 4r around 700hp. Owner took the truck and built/installed the one it currently has. Power driven never seen it again. I do not know if the first 4r was John wood built or not.

So ya the rest of the story is, powerdriven got the charger built and got it on the dyno and no one was paying attention to the temps and it was 320F lol but that was a john wood trans but he warrantied it and put a new converter in it.


I will send a pm Bigrpowr. John got back to me and said it has a race trans but not clear on if there is any warranty left or what all is billet in it.

It is suppose to be a Sun Coast converter with a 200 tighter stall in it. we will see when i start to rip it all apart this winter lol

thats pretty cool wherever you got the truck from that person somehow got my ported and powdercoated intake manifold that was never sent back to me from STROKERSACE, guess thats why he wont answer my pm's now
