difference between 03-04 and 05-07

I am in the market yet again for another pickup. This time I'm thinking about going with a six uh oh. Can anybody tell me if there is a difference and what it is between the 03-04 and 05-07 trucks. It is obvious about the front clip as well as the entire dash is different but, as far as the motor and electronic systems other than the 18mm and 20mm dowel pins is there truly a difference. If so, which do you think is stronger. And please no bs. Just looking for straight forward answers.

The oil rails and rockers boxes are different, different hpops, different turbo, different egr cooler, there's a few more differences. The later models are preferred

03-early 04 have a different turbo(10vane), egr cooler as well as a smaller water pump. The turbo and egr cooler are thought to be better. 04.5-05 different turbo again. 06-07 different turbo, 06 models and some 05 trucks have stc fittings that can give issues. If it were me I'd get the newest one I could find at a good price with decent miles. I've had a 04 early build and now have a 06. The 06 rides better and the interior is a lot better. Better turning radius on 4x4 models as well. Larger brakes as well as the tow command. All things not on the 03-04 trucks.

Alright guys, big thanks to ya. I'm lookin at a 07 now. Still trying to debate if I want this or just go back to the 7.3, I miss my 6.4 tho haha. Seems a bit more reliable to go to the 7.3.

someone said turning radius already but 03-04 had leaf springs and 05 up coils, its a big dif in turning radius.
