does tow/haul have a fuse?

my friend text me yesterday and said that his truck won't go into tow/haul anymore. it used to but it just recently stopped doing it. it is an '04, pretty much bone stock. exhaust and maybe a programmer. nothing has changed recently but it stopped working. is there a fuse for it?

Well I had a similar issue a few years back in my 01, I understand it wasn't tow/haul but it was OD. The wires that run threw the shift lever had broken.

If it does it would most likely be in your owners manual for fuses that are in the panel.

Wiring broken at base of shifter. Replace shifter handle. Don't remember the basic part number, I'm a buncha drinks into the evening.

Drink a beer after shifter replacement.
