Door Lock Actuators

Pulled my doors apart found aftermarket actuators, so tried to do the foil mod but found the original motor burned up. Tried searching on here but found nothing, what do you guys recommend for aftermarket actuators? Or should I order OEM?

If the motors are burned up, I would do OEM. You should be able to find them in a junk yard.

I just ordered 2 wire after market ones that were on there. $17 for four of them and don't have to pull all that out

i used a penny on mine...iirc some of the oems are not that bad 58 +/-
mine were not burned just the little pos tin covered plastic piece was too arc ed up to work..canadian penny and tinsnips all four done. no locks that peter out anymore.

I would do the penny on the new ones before install. I used penny on all 4 of mine and havent had a problem in almost 5 years.
