My biggest issue with stretch, no matter the platform (ricer, sports car, truck, suv, anything) is you just spent usually good money, on a nice set of wheels, which are usually not easily repairable or cheaply, just to get smaller tires for $50-100/per cheaper and ruin the wheels costing $150 to repair or more to replace. Rocks hit the edge of the wheel now because its exposed to the road elements, crud gets in the bead area and causes bead leaks and corrosion and you just look like a cheap SOB rolling down the road with the wrong size tires on the wrong size wheels.
