Joe, is that tune actually causing the truck to change idle like that ! Sounds horrible, very odd to me it almost sounds like it "snaps" to a different tone.

It never sounded right, but lets not go down that road.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say that by changing tuners you elminated the problem ?
Or was it mechanical ?

I have it but my truck is pretty much stock right now. Got live tune by Jody. Not to much difference though on the lope . But truck runs a lot better then before.

Guys. Is this 2006? Like Diane said it's a specific tune a customer asked for. This is not a standard file they send out with their chips. Can everybody here agree 7.3 tuning has come a long way in the past 4-5 yrs? Tuning has evolved exponentially...
I had a nasty single shot lope file from David @ DI for a little while. It was pretty much just a novelty. DP Tuner wasnt the only one burning that type file to a chip.

thats like putting big stacks on pick up trucks.. just doesnt "fit" even though I have that tune on my hot setting to know I am in it but it does not sound like any of those trucks..
