Easy entrance/exit

I have the Easy Entrance/Exit feature activated on my truck. It does what it suppose to do except when I remote start the truck.

When I shut the truck off, the driver's seat moves back. When I remote start the truck and put the key in the ignition, the seat doesn't move forward to the programmed position. I have to move the seat.

Is this normal?

No that's not normal, it should go to your pre-programmed spot as soon as the key is inserted into the ignition. Has it always done this?

Yes, always done it on remote start from day one. Only have 1100 miles on the truck.

Did you go into the menu to the easy entry/access and see what the settings are?

Just press the #1 button, hold it till you hear a beep, then press the LOCK button on the key remote.

I'll double check but it should program that specific key to that #1 position. So if you program the #2 spot and #2 key people can swap out the truck. Seat position, external mirrors, maybe pedals will move to the correct settings.

PG 117 of my owner's manual:

This feature will automatically recall the
position of the driver seat, power mirrors,
and adjustable pedals. The memory
control is located on the driver door.

Mine does the same thing after i get it serviced everytime, have to reset it and its flawless until next service heavyassualt has the right idea
