Maybe it's been said before or maybe you guys already do it, but if you are pulling your turbo or plan on pulling it remover the oil filter housing it's 4 bolts and the fuel lines but makes pulling and resetting the turbo much easier at least for me. I went straight in with the turbo hit all 3 bolts and up pipe/down pipe clamps first go. Literally had the turbo back in and bolted down in under 3 minutes. When i removed the turbo I still had oil filter housing in and it was the same old wrestling the turbo out. Going back in was cake. Let me know some feedback on your thoughts?

I have only had issues if there is one of the tall napa caps on them, and then i just pull the filter. If you are looking for more room, possibly knock the alternator off, ive seen guys do that, as then you can kinda go around the filter housing.

I've never had to remove anything else to get the turbo out other than the obvious i/c pipes, downpipe, oil line, and take that hard plastic cowel harness shield thing loose, turbo out in 15-20 minutes every time with an air ratchet. I put a short prybar in the compressor outlet, and pry up and to the drivers side, they always pop loose. I pull them towards the passenger side of the oil filter housing. Its always worked for me.
