Egr valve info

Pulled the egr valve out. From what I can see it is just like a black chalk. The intake looks like there is a lot of it in there. With a small spot , maybe the size of a quater that looks wet. So does that still mean egr is bad or can that be head gaskets ? Truck smokes a lot when accelerating from a stop.

that EGR valve and spot could be perfectly normal

So would having a leaky stc fitting or dummy plug cause an injector to blow a bunch of blue/white smoke ? Or would it be head gaskets ?
