First time build.... Looking for advice

I am looking to build a 6.4 for strictly drag racing. What I am looking for is a wrecked 6.4. I have a complete shop and have an abundance of body parts but would like to start with a good engine as a base. I am a young diesel tech and have a decent amount of knowledge about the mechanic side of things. Just need an idea of where to start. I've heard not to do a dually. Do I need a 4x4? I would like to end up around 900hp. Any information would be great. Thanks guys.
