Ok I was wondering who built your 6r140, How much did it cost, and is it a noticeable difference?
I've been running my hurt 2011 6.7 for a few months free revs in 4th and grunts in 5th time for a change 4th is the sweet spot

ummm IDK I'M gentle on it prob 100 boosted launches, 10+ Sled Pulls.
My truck has always had a hard shift even stock I put a set of traction bars on smoothed out the shifting so not for sure if it was quite right from the get go.

I'd say you may of had a bad one from the start. I no a lot of people have been way worse and there's are still kicking fine. Some with even upgraded turbos.

i know elite's shop truck has had a few different turbo's , dual pumps, and a good bit of testing, and at well over 600 it's just now starting to show some wear, but the only sign is lazy going into reverse, which i believe is a sign of the direct clutches starting to go. i'm kicking the crap out of mine, and within a few days i'll be doing it with a bigger turbo and pumps, so hopefully i can help in the testing. but it seems strong as hell as of right now.

There is actually a TSB for that delay reverse

There is also a TSB for delay engaugment forward and reverse, that has been linked to a bad pump design that looses prime... my bone stock truck is this victim and im waiting on parts from the dealer :(

So anyway in this case i think you got a bad one, theres not many out there some do fail...

It has almost 22,000 Miles I also tow pretty heavy loads with a 24' Gooseneck maybe not a 100 launches but It's had quite a few. Now for tuning I like my custom tune not spittin a name out because they've been nothing but good to me. Also when hauling with the gooseneck I keep it in stock. I believe it was bad from the factory took it back to the stealership an they said nothing was wrong with it when it was bone stock.
I guess a build soon too come

Our 2wd street truck lasted just a hair over 1k miles from the time I got it. I will have something in two weeks Greg (talked more to them today). I will keep you in the loop. Waiting on a washer to be made.....

Trick Truck what exactly is your truck doing? Mine free revs in 4th unless I let off before the shift for about 4 seconds then it will take 4th an bump and go on. I can Manually DOWNSHIFT to 4th JUST fine its all on the upshift. Now it will grunt the gears when I'm in the throttle like passing both in M and in D. It goes urrrp it's a nasty sound:flush:
