I have a 2011 250 in about 4 months ago I replaced the front and rear brakes with yellow stuff brake pads. A couple days ago I realized my front brakes were squeaking more than normal and now they seem to be grinding. I looked at the front and rear last night and it looks like the front is worn all the way down and the rear are hardly worn at all. has anyone had a problem like this for know what could be causing the front pads to wear so fast? before I changed my front pads and after I was noticing the brakes were sticking so when I would let my foot off the brake pedal it would delay like one or two seconds then the brakes would release.
I ordered powerstop extreme tow brake pads and slotted and drilled rotors so they should be coming in the mail along with two new remanufactured calipers for the front. Hopefully this fixes it.

Sounds like one or more stuck calipers on the front. Are both left and right front brakes worn out?

Yeah, double check the each pad. I just did the brakes on mine and 3 of the 4 slider pins were seized up. I had to replace them and now they look to be doing well.

Update.
I went ahead and ordered the front calipers along with rotors and pads. After removing the calipers I realized the "yellowstuff" pads just wore out incredibly fast. I changed the front in Jan and the rear in March. Both were worn all the way down. The rear were starting to grind so I ended up getting a new rotor for it also. So all 4 pads were worn about the same and none of the pins were stuck or even slightly rigid. The front pads actually wore deep onto the rotors because I had replaced one of the rotors in Jan also. Anyone heard of pads wearing that fast? I probably drove 15k miles on them and I only tow a 3k lb trailer. I thought yellowstuff were really good. I thought wrong. Hopefully these powerstop extreme tow front and ceramic gold durastop rear ast longer then 7 months.

I don't think ceramic pads are good for these trucks. I also believe they wear fast IIRC.

Good Ole semi-metallics are all I've ever used. Going on a few years for my fronts.
