Front cover hpop steel inserts

Looking into installing some inserts. Are there any others then the Fastenal EZ LOK and Some other one called Time Certs. I have been reading on these two but would like to know if there is any other that anyone have tried? Seems to be that the EZ LOK is more popular. I would like to get it done before installing my pump .

Fastenal had some thread in ones w 4 stakes to lock em. Goin to try one in a head bolt hole monday. It taps out pretty big though, 16 mm for 12mm.

Do I need the special tool to install the EZ LOK insert? Also what size drill bit and is it just a bottom tap that I use?
