My front seal is leaking badly enough now that I can't even park in my driveway without pi**ing off the wife. I have a new seal but before I dig into it, can somebody tell me if I MUST have the seal installer tool? I've read in the past where people have made tools with all thread and old pulleys, but I can't find it now. That might have also been for a 7.3. This is the only forum I can get to through firewall, so please, if anyone knows how to make a tool, could you post instructions?
My truck is '04 6.0. I think my bedplate seal is also leaking but the front seal/or regulator is making such a mess, I can't hardly tell if it is. I'll save questions on that until I verify it wasnt all the front seal.
