Doing a single turbo on my 6.4 and spent about 3 hours pulling the stock chargers today. I got to wondering about getting rid of that junk. Anyone have a write up or any pics?....i got to wondering because i noticed the coolant hose coming from the actuator had to be removed and i barely had enough hose to run straight to the black tank up top. .

Rescue diesel and elite make a kit. But most just do away with the cooler all together. Only complaint I've heard is the truck surging on long trips from fuel getting hot

I've had my fuel cooler ******d for 3 years and have driven all over the country... Never had any fuel temp issues. I also don't tow a lot, if you do and are constantly pushing the truck hard it might be a different story

Fuel bowl ******, remove the cooler on the side of the IC, remove both rubber hoses that run to the VGT actuator and coolant reservoir for the fuel cooler, remove the electric pump for the coolant, then I used a tube to AN adapter to run the return from the heads/HPFP straight back to the tank. Don't have many specific pics of this stuff... Just general pics of it now with everything all done

The H&S single kit comes with two little brackets to replace how it mounts on the stock U pipe. They're super simple, could be made with stuff from a hardware store and a little bit of time.
