Anyone have this turbo on their 7.3? If so how do you like it? How does it compare to the gtp38r or turbo thruster II?

Look vary similar to a SD66 from beans.
I would stick with the 38r for a drop in. Tried and true.

If it was my money i would go the route of a T4 S366 or s363fmw or T4i with a modded h2e turbo set up over this. any day.

As much as I'd like to run a t4 setup I unfortunately I live in california and have to deal with this smog bulls**t. So I got to run a stock appearing turbo that a smog technician would overlook.

That turbo is for 99.5-03. Just like a 38r. Your screen name leads me to believe you may have a early 99 7.3. Either way we have some that will fit your needs and you may be surprised that you can get into a 38r for the same price as this knock off.

Ya ron. I want to go with a S366, or a S362fmw, Or the modded h2e. Looking to bill a good tow pig and and want to get away from the IH mount. The injector i am going to go with are 160/30 or 175/30. I just want to get in the ball park of 350-400 with good EGTs and reliability.

If you are switching Uppipes, wait and just go to a T4 mount. Yes it's more, but it gives so many turbo options.

I had the turbo in question that the OP asked back in the day, and wouldn't buy it for a paperweight. 38r spools faster and flows more (factory uppipes), modded H2e (T4i mount), or a 366 (T4 mount) also perform way better.
