K, Have you ever driven and run a truck with 500 HP WOT, flat out, boost launch? I would suggest if you haven't at the very least take a ride in a rig regardless of the manf and see what that feels like. I have never seen a first timer that was not VERY impressed. At the very least if you still decide to go with the "go big or go home" thing which maybe what you really want, then consider stepping down one step to the GTX4294r. Combined with a 1.15 housing IMO that is the ultimate single turbo for the street. That combined with a 100% or max 200% nozzle 250-300cc will give you spool up very close to stock. Enough power to blow the tires off @550-600. If you can for sure get lived tuned then 200% might be the right move for you. But understand at these power levels and if you like stomping on it frequently you are going to be putting serious strain on the drive train and things will be breaking and need to be replaced. Pinions, Driveshafts, Axle stubs, locking hubs, better have a built trans for sure, not to mention what can happen to any engine with big power.......KabOOM!!! LOL That X4294 is scary quite as far as turbo whine goes. All you hear is the huge vacuum of sucking air but no whine. Lites down low very well, comes on smooth, and when you jump on it it really takes off. It also tows well from what I have been told.(haven't towed heavy with mine yet.) But this is still a good size turbo and puts out a lot of power and you have to have ALL the supporting mods IMO when you go with this kind of turbo injector combo.
