Head gasket

What's it like to blow a head gasket while driving down the road. Hasn't happened yet and has never happened to me so I just wanna know what to expect. Ya know?

Nothing extraordinary. You may start smelling coolant, and if its really bad, may get some on the running boards, cowl or possibly windshield depending on how fast you are going. Mostly when you open the hood, you'll see evidence of it venting out the cap, ie white marks that look like dripping water on the bottle.

Expect 3500-7000 in repairs, but like said above nothing extraordinary. I had coolant all over my motor from puking out of the Degas bottle.

$3000 out the door IF nothing else is wrong, studs and gaskets with machine work on heads. Fixing to have mine done

Depends where you take it I have been quoted from 3K to 7k

If they say ANYTHING over 3500 for studs and gaskets and machine the heads.. RUN!!
