Any trick to removing the entire head lamp enclosure from the grille area? I just found that my "new" truck has a cracked/partially missing retainer flange where the head lamp fits in and then is retained by the plastic sleeve. Thanks.

You just wanting to pull the headlight? Should just be a few 5.5mm bolts. And it's easier to take a few loose on the grill too.

I found info that says there are two clips on top of the assembly that need to be removed. Once the two top clips are removed, there's a third clip on the bottom that you need to remove. We'll see.

The headlight lens is glued to the headlight housing, most of us have had to put them in the oven to bake it off. To get the whole headlight assembly off you just have to remove the 4 bolts holding it on, two on top, two on bottom.

Also just realized you have an 04, maybe it's different?

I'm trying get the entire assembly out. Looks like two strange clips up top. Something is holding it in from the bottom. Looks like I'll have to remove the blinker assembly to get at it...but that's later today.

If it's anything like the 05's which I think it is because they bolt up to yours, there should be two bolts on top that should be easily visible with the hood up, and the bottom two you can see between the bottom of the headlight housing and the upper pad on the bumper.
