Only 195lbft for A1/elite? Sounds awful low
They use dt compound #2 lube (peanut butter). I'm not sure why its lower other than the lube, Mine have held up fine at that tq. I just rebuilt it and I did pull them to 210this time as its the 2nd use. In the instructions on the a1's you tq them in 3 equal steps to 195, slack off, re tq 195, slack off, final tq to 195. I believe that is getting all the (stretch) out of them. Where the arp's go 110,220,325 final without slacking off, so I'm not sure what the actual final tq on them is after they (stretch).
The sheet says 275 now.I torqued my arp's to 325 yesterday. Is there an updated torque value or is that still what the sheet says? I didn't have a sheet to go by. This was with arp's newest lube

195 is for the 1722 studs. Keep in mind that a stronger stud doesn't need nearly as high of a torque number to achieve the same clamp load.
And my h-11s from elite are torqued to 215.
Matco or snaponWho makes a decient torque multiplier? I have a matco 250ftlb 1/2
