help quick question!

last night i had to replace a injector and you know you have to remove the degas bottle for access to the valve cover etc etc anyway everything went back together smoothly but this morning when i got to school i noticed a puddle under my truck, the hose under the coolant tank came off:doh: so i lost most the coolant in the tank. so my question is can put straight water in it for now?

also the engine didnt over heat on my way to school. its about a 10 minute drive from my house

You can add some distilled water i had a similar situation and just did that.
