No , That is engine timing vs not ignition timing , but , injection timing. Think of it on a gasser level. By rotating the distributor cap you can advance or retard the spark. However, you can rotate the cap around all you want and it will never change the position of the cam or crank.

Bruno my setup isn't that different from your's. I have 160/100s, a Modded h2e, and stealth hpop and did 463hp. With a healthy oil pump I would say you'll be in the 425-435 range and maybe more with live tuning.
Did you mention what hp you're making now? I didn't see it anywhere in the thread..

I dont know what kind of HP I am currently making I have never dynoed my truck. Tony at Total Diesel Performance gave me an estimate of around 340-350 HP at the rear wheels.I think its a fairly accurate estimate. I have a HO 5.9 and my stroke seems to be a little stouter than it.

Most of my mods including the clutch and fuel system is only good for around 400 HP. So to desire more than that I would need to do some more upgrading.

What kind of fuel are you running Parker?

OBS is a mechanical lift pump in the valley with tiny 1/8 lines going to back of heads and a regulated return through the fuel bowl/filter housing. SD is electric pump on the frame and dead heads to the heads. Which is why DI does so well selling regulated returns. If you scrap everything it doesn't matter. Most guys have scrapped the entire fuel system on either models. Mine is getting ready to lose the last vestiges of the stock system, the fuel bowl/filter housing.

160/100s from Cass and a reg. return with a Walbro pump.
Back when I first started modding my truck I just had my 160/100s, exhaust, intake, and some older Wildman tunes and it made 367hp. That was with a worn out hpop (1700 psi) and my fuel pump wasn't holding pressure either. There's not a lot of difference between our nozzles (20%), plus you have a lot of supporting mods so 400+ shouldn't be out of the question for you.

I am getting ready to get some more oil . I have some Wildman tunes that are about 3-4 yrs old. My truck is smokey even on the economy tune. I think after the oil I need to get reburned.

My old Wildman tunes would roll coal in every setting too. I think I had tow, 60hp, 120hp, and daily driver "viagra". I liked the tunes, I just had to make sure I didn't get to hard on the throttle.
