I smell coolant!

But I'm not loosing any....no visible leaks anywhere...

No coolant level change

06 truck...studded and deleted...

I have absolutely no idea where to look or what to look for since its not leaking.

I have looked around the radiator tank around the crimp and there's no residue.

Anyone had this happen?

Outside.

I can smell it in the cab w the windows down...but not from the vents...I feel like this eliminates the heater core

If you can, pressurize the cooling system and see if it holds pressure.

I did...to 15lbs...and it did.

I have not pumped it up cold. I'm going to start the injectors tonight so ill check it cold & go from there

Held pressure.

I dk what's going on.. from time to time o see higher than normal ect's for just a few minutes then back to normal...nothing overheating just higher than I normally see.

I noticed some residue on the bottle but that's from pouring coolant back in the bottle after injectors the other week.

I have seen no wet coolant on the bottle and I look almost religiously.

Think I might have traced it down to a location...noticed some red on one of the vc bolts...think its coming from the coolant filter t
